Cancer Treatment Success Story: Father of One Reverses Stage 4 Skin Cancer

A father of one who was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer that affects about 1 million people in the US every year, has been cured thanks to an experimental treatment in Mexico.

Allen Rapert, now 62, was initially given only six percent of patients live four years or more. He had symptoms for about a year before diagnosis, including blurred vision and recurring infections. Doctors recommended surgery, chemotherapy, and even considered him a lost cause.

However, after researching online, Mr. Rapert opted for an experimental treatment at the Williams Cancer Institute in Mexico. The two-step method uses pulsed electric field ablation to kill cancer cells and immunotherapy drugs to boost the immune system’s response against them.

Mr. Rapert received five rounds of the treatment over seven months, with his tumor shrinking significantly. In December 2023, just seven months after diagnosis, scans showed his cancer had completely disappeared. The institute claims an upwards of 85% success rate in treating advanced stage 4 cancers using this method.

Dr. Jason Williams, who pioneered the new treatment, hopes to treat more patients like Mr. Rapert. With a high success rate and potential for further breakthroughs, this innovative treatment offers hope for those struggling with aggressive skin cancer.
