Capital One is working to resolve a technical issue affecting thousands of users who reported problems with deposits on Thursday. The company says the issue is temporary and is actively working to restore services.
According to reports, some users were unable to access their deposited funds due to an unspecified tech problem. The bank released a statement stating that the issue was caused by a third-party vendor and was impacting account services, deposits, and payment processing for certain customers.
Capital One has assured customers that the issue will be resolved by Friday morning, as stated in an email sent out Thursday evening. An online outage tracker showed over 2,000 users had reported issues on Thursday morning, with around 1,500 still reporting problems as of 5 p.m.
The company is working to resolve the technical issue and restore services to its customers as soon as possible.
