Carma Labs, the manufacturer of Carmex and other lip care products, is set to move into its new headquarters in Franklin. The company will occupy a 225,000-square-foot building located at 9410 S. 76th St., which features 195,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 30,000 square feet of office space.
The new facility marks the culmination of plans announced by Carma Labs in January 2020. The company is relocating from its current location in Franklin Business Park and will leave behind a production facility at 5801 W. Airways Ave. and offices about half a mile away.
Carma Labs acquired the land for its new headquarters for $2.23 million in November 2020, with plans to complete the development and occupy the space by December.
