A woman recently suffered a severe bite from a cat while cat-sitting, leading to a potentially life-threatening infection that required immediate medical attention. Marti Trgovich, who was caring for the feline at her home in exchange for accommodation, reported that after the biting incident, her hand turned red and swollen, and a thick red line appeared on her arm. The infected area was deemed severe enough by emergency room doctors to pose a significant risk to her health.
