CD Projekt will unveil details about its highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 update, Patch 2.3, on July 16th. The update is expected to focus on vehicles, with the developer hinting at a “vehicular focus” in recent announcements.
Originally announced in June, the update was initially planned for release towards the end of the month but was later delayed due to CD Projekt requiring more time. Although the development process concluded last year, the studio has been tight-lipped about the update’s content beyond stating it aims for a scope similar to the previous 2.2 release.
Patch 2.2 introduced various fixes and quality-of-life improvements, as well as new car customization options, improved photo mode, and a selection of “most requested” vehicles. The latest update is expected to include new vehicle features, although specific details remain unclear.
A livestream event on July 16th will provide more information about Patch 2.3, with associate game director Paweł Sasko and lead designer Adrien Jouannet set to appear.
