Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero has died suddenly at the age of 34. Guerrero, known for working with A-list clients including Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, and Jennifer Lopez, passed away on Saturday, according to a GoFundMe page started by his sister Gris Guerrero.
The cause of death is currently unknown, but Guerrero’s family has taken over his personal belongings and are working to bring him home to Houston. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with these costs, which has already exceeded its $60,000 goal with over $61,000 raised.
Many celebrities took to social media to pay their respects, including Kylie Jenner’s makeup artist Ariel Tejada, who called Guerrero his “chosen family” and described him as her “Anchor, my Rock.” Fellow celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin also shared a tribute on her Instagram Story, saying that Guerrero was a “loving light and talent” who showed up with “insane talent and warmth.”
Guerrero’s parents were immigrants from Texas, where he was born and raised. A younger sister, Gris, described him as a son, brother, uncle, artist, friend, and much more. The outpouring of tributes highlights Guerrero’s significant impact on those who knew him.
