Céline Dion Surprises Golf Fans with ‘My Heart Will Go On’ Performance

The Queen of Power Ballads brought some much-needed excitement to a golf match in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., as she stepped out of the crowd to perform an impromptu rendition of “My Heart Will Go On” during an interview.

Céline Dion, 56, made a surprise appearance at the TGL match between the Atlanta Drive GC and the Jupiter Links GC at the SoFi Center on March 4. The audience was taken aback when she broke out into the song’s iconic melody, causing some to shout out her other hit titles.

When asked which song represented her golf game, Dion replied with a laugh that “some people have suggestions.” She then proceeded to sing lyrics from the 1997 Titanic soundtrack classic, duetting with ESPN reporter Marty Smith. The performance was met with applause and praise from both the audience and Smith himself, who jokingly said he wasn’t bad at singing.

Dion’s decision to take a step back from performing after her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in 2022 has not stopped her from making triumphant appearances. She recently made headlines for her performance at last year’s Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, where she sang Edith Piaf’s classic “Hymne A L’Amour.”

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Dion expressed gratitude to her fans for their support and encouraged them to look forward to “endless possibilities” in 2025. With this recent performance at the golf match, it seems that Céline Dion is back on track and ready to take on new challenges.
