The Boston Celtics have extended their franchise record for most wins on the road, moving within two victories of the Golden State Warriors’ mark set in the 2015-16 season. With a 117-103 win at Memphis, the Celtics improved to 32-7 and claimed their eighth consecutive road victory. Coach Joe Mazzulla credited his team’s consistency, saying, “It’s more about just playing consistent basketball.” The Celtics are now one away from tying the Los Angeles Lakers’ record for most double-digit wins on the road in NBA history. Their strong road performance has also led to Oklahoma City, which is 11-0 on the road since the All-Star break and 29-7 overall, remaining a contender for fewest road losses in a season.
