The Boston Celtics came from behind to dominate the Miami Heat in a 103-85 victory on Monday night at Kaseya Center. After an impressive opening nine minutes, the Heat’s scoring dried up as the Celtics’ defense tightened and led to a 31-24 lead by halftime.
Boston’s defense was the key factor in their comeback win. The Celtics went on an 18-0 run over six minutes, taking control of the game and never trailing again. Sam Hauser led the charge with five 3-pointers, including two in his season-high 15 points in the first half.
The Heat struggled to regain momentum after Boston’s surge, mustering only 61 points for the rest of the game. The Celtics’ lead was as high as 24 points before securing the win.
Jayson Tatum scored 33 points, while Al Horford added 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Despite a strong defensive effort, the Heat were unable to overcome Boston’s strong team play.
