The feature is accessible via the child’s account preferences and requires the adult to add their email address before receiving weekly reports. These reports include:

Parents can request to revoke access to this data at any time, but the company will confirm the request.
Character.AI has implemented this feature in response to recent lawsuits alleging that the product harmed children. The company aims to improve teen safety and provide parents with information about their child’s activity on the platform. By listening to teens, parents, and leading teen safety organizations, Character.AI plans to refine its tool to better meet community needs.
