Charles Barkley Threatens Parent After NBA Playoffs Altercation

Charles Barkley has spoken out about an altercation between Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo during Game 5 of their playoff series. The elder Haliburton, John, was seen talking trash from the baseline seat before coming nose-to-nose with Antetokounmpo.

Barkley expressed his disdain for the behavior, calling it “AAU crap” and praising Antetokounmpo’s restraint in the situation. He believes that John Haliburton should not attend the next two home games against the Cleveland Cavaliers as a punishment.

“I don’t think he should be executed, but he shouldn’t come to the next two games at home,” Barkley said. The former NBA player joked that Haliburton might have to guard Donovan Mitchell for a few minutes as an alternative punishment. Despite his strong stance, Barkley acknowledged that an appropriate punishment is uncertain and expressed relief that the Haliburtons apologized for their actions.
