Tiger Woods’ 16-year-old son Charlie made history by winning the American Junior Golf Association’s Team TaylorMade Invitational at Streamsong Resort Black Course in Florida.
Charlie shot a 6-under 66 in the final round to claim his first AJGA title, beating a 71-player field that included top-ranked players. His father, Tiger Woods, finished second with a score of 9-under 135. Charlie’s impressive win comes after several notable golfing achievements, including winning the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour’s Major Championship in June 2023.
The young golfer had previously qualified to compete at the U.S. Junior Amateur but failed to make the cut last summer. He also attempted to qualify for the U.S. Open earlier this month, but fell short. Charlie’s victory marks his first AJGA title and gives him a boost in the latest rankings, where he now ranks 606th.
