ChatGPT Gains More Features and Users

OpenAI has announced significant updates to its popular AI chatbot, ChatGPT. The platform now offers a “record mode” for taking notes during meetings, brainstorming sessions, or thinking-out-loud soliloquies. Additionally, users can connect ChatGPT to various cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, Sharepoint, and OneDrive.

Business users with a ChatGPT Team subscription will have access to this new feature. The recording capabilities include timestamped citations and action items, and connections to third-party storage services are available for users of higher-tier plans. This update aims to strengthen OpenAI’s position in the enterprise AI market, which is highly competitive.

With over 3 million paying business users, ChatGPT continues its rapid growth and expansion. The company’s efforts to compete with tech giants and startups in this space have led to significant investments and updates. As the industry prepares for an AI arms race expected to reach $1 trillion in revenue within seven years, OpenAI remains a key player.

Note: The recording feature is currently only available for ChatGPT Team users.
