Chicago Bears Hire Experienced Coaches for New Leadership Roles

The Chicago Bears have announced the hiring of former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen as their new offensive coordinator and former Denver Broncos tight ends coach Declan Doyle as their head coach, marking a significant addition to Ben Johnson’s first season. Allen, who served as Saints’ head coach from 2022 until his firing after the team’s Week 9 loss, previously coached the Oakland Raiders. He has spent over two decades in NFL coaching, including stints with the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints. Doyle, a former assistant coach at the Broncos, will bring his expertise to help shape the Bears’ offense under Johnson’s guidance. The duo brings valuable experience in both defensive and offensive coordination, aiming to complement Johnson’s system while providing fresh perspectives for long-term success.
