Chiefs’ Draft Plans Revealed Ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the 2025 NFL draft, which is scheduled to take place on April 24 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The team has eight picks in the draft and will likely focus on addressing key positions.

According to top analysts, the Chiefs’ main needs include an offensive tackle, a defensive tackle, and a tight end. While they signed Jaylon Moore in free agency, which may provide some competition for him at left tackle, there’s still uncertainty about his ability to start.

Furthermore, the Chiefs are short on depth at defensive tackle, with Chris Jones being their primary player. The addition of Jerry Tillery is seen as a step in the right direction but more work needs to be done to bolster the position.

Meanwhile, Travis Kelce has one more season left, making it an ideal time for the Chiefs to start scouting potential replacements. With eight picks at their disposal, the team will aim to address these areas and strengthen its roster.

The draft’s first round is expected to see the Chiefs pick at No. 31, followed by selections in Rounds 2-7. The top three needs remain a priority, with OT, DT, and TE being key targets for General Manager Brett Veach’s team.
