The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans at noon Arrowhead Time on Saturday. The Chiefs’ final injury report for the week includes several notable players.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who had been dealing with an ankle issue, has no designation after a full practice this week and is expected to play. However, left tackle D.J. Humphries will miss the game due to a hamstring injury.
Safety Chamarri Conner, who suffered a concussion during practice earlier in the week, is also out. The Chiefs’ other injured players include left tackle D.J. Humphries (hamstring), safety Chamarri Conner (concussion), and tight end Cade Stover (illness).
On the other side, the Texans are dealing with several injuries themselves. Center Juice Scruggs will miss the game due to a foot injury, while defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi will also sit out. Wide receiver John Metchie III and tight end Cade Stover have been ruled out, along with safety Christian Harris (ankle) who is questionable.
Running back Joe Mixon finished practice as a limited participant but is expected to play. The Texans’ other injured players include left tackle Kenyon Green (shoulder), defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (ankle), and wide receiver John Metchie III (shoulder).
The Chiefs have several healthy players, including offensive linemen Creed Humphrey (ankle) and Jawaan Taylor (knee), kicker Harrison Butker (left knee), and wide receiver Hollywood Brown (shoulder), who was activated from the Reserve/Injured list on Friday. The Texans’ practice squad has also seen some changes, with safety Deon Bush and tight end Anthony Firkser being elevated to the active roster.
