The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for the Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The inactives include left tackle D.J. Humphries (hamstring) and safety Chamarri Conner (concussion), as well as defensive tackle Chris Jones (calf). Other players, such as Malik Herring, Joshua Uche, Ethan Driskell, and C.J. Hanson, will also not play due to injuries.
On the other hand, right tackle Jawaan Taylor and defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu have been cleared to dress for the game. This marks the first time Tuipulotu has been active in a Kansas City uniform. Tight end Peyton Hendershot, who was on the Reserve/Injured list with a calf injury, has been activated and will replace practice squad linebacker Jack Cochrane.
The Steelers’ inactives include cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (knee) and wide receiver Ben Skowronek (hip). However, quarterback Justin Fields has been designated as Pittsburgh’s emergency third quarterback, having been declared questionable with an abdominal injury.
In contrast to the Chiefs, the Steelers did not elevate any practice squad players for the game. Both teams have made their inactives public, providing clarity on who will be playing and those who will not.
