Chiefs Light Up the Field with Cell Phone Show

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. As a special fan-centered event, the team will initiate a cell phone light show during introductions and at the end of the third quarter.

Fans participating in the light show must download the Chiefs app to their phones and follow the instructions provided by the stadium announcer. When prompted, fans can tap “join light show” in the app to participate.

The event is part of several fan-focused activities taking place during the game. To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of breaking the record for loudest crowd noise at 142.2 dB in 2014, Bud Light is offering free beer and koozies to fans 21 and over.

Fans attending the game can scan a QR code on their koozie to enter a contest to win free beer for an entire year. Non-game attendees can also get a free beer at designated locations: The Other Place in Overland Park or Johnny’s Tavern in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
