Chiefs Release Second Injury Report Before Super Bowl LIX

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their second injury report of the week ahead of Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles. Four players are listed on the report, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes (ankle), right tackle Jawaan Taylor (knee), and punter Matt Araiza (illness). Both Mahomes, Taylor, and Araiza were full participants in practice.

In addition to these three players, defensive end Brandon Graham remains limited due to a previous injury that kept him out for several weeks. However, cornerback Jaylen Watson and safety Bryan Cook are now considered good to go for the big game after appearing on last week’s report. Defensive tackle Jalen Carter has also been upgraded to full participation despite dealing with an illness.

The Chiefs’ key injured players, Landon Dickerson (knee) and Cam Jurgens (back), were both full participants in practice, which is a positive sign for the team ahead of Super Bowl LIX. Graham hopes to return next week after tearing his triceps in Week 12.
