Child actors Angelo Massagli and Caitlin Hale, who met on the set of 2003’s ‘School of Rock,’ have finally tied the knot. The couple, now in their mid-30s, reconnected while pursuing further education at schools in Florida before realizing their long-held feelings for each other.
Massagli, a law student at the time, and Hale, completing her degrees in Miami, had previously made things official on August 30th. They then celebrated with a grand wedding ceremony and reception at Park Château Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey, surrounded by friends, family, and fellow castmates from ‘School of Rock.’
The couple, who read private vows to each other the night before, exchanged heartfelt glances on their first dance to Kanye West’s “Through the Wire.” They even brought back some memories from their ‘School of Rock’ days, dancing with nine former co-stars and more than a dozen of their parents and siblings.
Massagli’s wedding band was passed down from his grandfather, while Hale wore her mother’s repurposed oval diamond engagement ring. The couple’s signature drinks were served during cocktail hour, followed by a three-tiered wedding cake and cannoli on the dance floor. As the night ended, guests walked out to a food truck handing out McDonald’s.
The ‘School of Rock’ reunion was a special touch for the happy couple, who had previously made things official just months before their big day. Their love story is a testament to the power of reconnection and second chances.
