A deadly explosion at a chemical plant in eastern China’s Shandong province on Tuesday killed at least five people, injured 19 others, and left six missing. The blast, which occurred at noon, sent thick columns of black smoke billowing from the site. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, with over 200 workers dispatched to the Shandong Youdao Chemical factory, where the plant is located.
