China Unveils New Stealth Fighter Jet, Threatens Indian Frontiers

China has released its first video of a new 6th-generation stealth fighter jet, sparking concerns over national security. The aircraft’s unique design makes it highly difficult to detect using conventional radar technology.

The Chengdu J-20, also known as the Mighty Dragon, is China’s latest addition to its military arsenal. First introduced in 2017, the J-20 boasts twin-engine capabilities and has been reported to be deployed in large numbers – possibly up to 250 units.

India, which does not currently possess a stealth fighter jet of its own, is expected to face a significant threat along its eastern border. In May, satellite images revealed China’s deployment of J-20 jets near the Indian border in Sikkim. The proximity of this deployment to India’s Rafale fighter bases in West Bengal has raised concerns over the potential impact on regional security.

While India’s fleet of 36 Rafale fighters provides a countermeasure to China’s advanced technology, the new stealth fighter jet is seen as a game-changer in the country’s military capabilities.
