Kelly began by comparing Jeanty’s playing style to basketball, asking him how he would guard himself. Jeanty mimed the motion, and Kelly explained that in football, running backs must be lower in their stance for better protection.
Jeanty now acknowledges that Kelly has convinced him to change his approach. However, he intends to persuade coach Kelly to adopt a similar stance later on as well. He aims to prove himself first before reconsidering the unconventional style.
