Chipolo Launches Rechargeable Bluetooth Trackers

Device tracker brand Chipolo has announced its Loop and Card, two new Bluetooth-powered item trackers that can be recharged instead of requiring battery replacements. The devices will sit alongside the company’s existing Pop pucks in its tracker lineup.

The Loop and Card support Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find My Device networks, allowing users to locate their tracked items on a map. Both devices boast a rechargeable design, lasting up to six months on a single charge according to Chipolo. The trackers also feature a Bluetooth range of 400 feet, an IP67 rating for water resistance, and can withstand being submerged in up to a meter of water for 30 minutes.

Design-wise, the Loop has a chunky silicone ring that attaches to keys or bags, while the Card resembles a gray credit card-shaped slab that can be inserted into wallets. Pricing starts at $39 for pre-order, with users responsible for purchasing their own charging cables and Qi chargers separately.
