A Cal Yee Farm chocolates recall has been issued due to an undeclared allergen, milk, which could cause serious health consequences or death. The Dark Chocolate Almonds, Dark Chocolate Apricots, and Dark Chocolate Walnuts have received a Class 1 recall classification from the FDA.
The products were recalled on December 12 across two retail stores in California and eight other states where online or phone orders are accepted. A total of six other products were recalled by the FDA in January 2025 due to undeclared milk, including NuGo granola bars and a Pancake and Waffle Mix.
Customers with milk allergies or sensitivities have been advised not to consume the affected products and should dispose of them or return them for a full refund. The FDA classifies Class 1 recalls as those that pose the greatest risk to health, while Class II recalls are considered less severe.
The recall affects Cal Yee Farms chocolates containing undeclared milk, in addition to other products with undeclared allergens such as almond, soy, wheat, and sesame.
