Christopher Bell secured his second NASCAR victory in two weeks at the Circuit of the Americas on Sunday. The win comes just a week after he took home the Ambetter Health 400 in Atlanta. Kyle Busch led for part of the race, but suffered damage to his car and fell back.
The final three laps were a tight three-way battle between Bell, William Byron, and Tyler Reddick. Despite trailing, Byron pushed hard to overtake Bell, but was ultimately unable to pass him. Bell’s lead was secured on the straightaway, with Byron closing in behind.
Bell attributes his win to Byron’s mistakes, saying “He bobbled and allowed me to get out front.” This is the first time since 2023 that a NASCAR driver has won back-to-back races. It marks Bell’s 11th career victory and his second consecutive win of the season.
