Circle and CoreWeave IPOs Rebound with Record Gains

US tech IPOs showed signs of life in June, with five listings, more than double the pre-January average of two. Notably, Circle Internet Group’s debut on the New York Stock Exchange saw its stock quintuple, lifting market value to around $42 billion. Meta Platforms’ $14 billion investment in Scale AI and Figma’s filed public prospectus also boosted sentiment.

CoreWeave CRWV reported a 170% surge in May and 47% gain in June, despite a muted initial debut. However, experts warn that the rebound may not be linear due to ongoing rate cut uncertainty and regulatory hurdles. For now, the uptick has eased pressure on venture-backed companies seeking exits.
