Clemson University men’s basketball earned an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, becoming a No. 5 seed in the Midwest Region. The Tigers will face McNeese, the No. 12 seed, on Thursday in Providence, R.I.
The team will advance to Saturday’s Sweet 16 game against either High Point or Purdue. This marks the fifth time under Head Coach Brad Brownell that the Tigers have made it to the NCAA Tournament and their 15th overall appearance since 1980.
Clemson enters the tournament with a 27-6 record, including an impressive 18-2 mark in regular season ACC games. The team set new school records for wins in a season, ACC wins, and win percentage, as well as ACC road wins.
The Tigers have made successful NCAA runs before, including appearances in the Elite Eight in 2024 and 1980. They will look to build on their momentum with another deep playoff run.
