The Cleveland Browns have signed quarterback Shedeur Sanders, picking him up in the fifth round (144th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. This move marks one of four signings by the team from their seven draft picks.
Sanders comes to Cleveland after a successful collegiate career at Colorado and Jackson State. In his final season with Colorado in 2024, he was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, completing 353 of 477 passes (74.0%) for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns while playing with only 10 interceptions.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Sanders attended Trinity Christian High School before pursuing a football career. He will don the number 12 jersey as he joins the Browns’ roster.
