The company’s AI-powered security system detected the threat and mitigated it before it could cause significant damage to the website. Cloudflare did not disclose the name of the targeted website due to privacy concerns.
This incident highlights the growing risk of DDoS attacks from IoT devices, which are increasingly used for malicious activities.
