Despite this setback, Rhodes will still make an appearance at the upcoming episode of SmackDown, which airs from Memphis, Tennessee. However, Owens’ status for the show remains unclear.
With his recent win over Kevin Owens, Rhodes set up a potential title match against Jey Uso or WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at WrestleMania 41. The rivalry between these two superstars has historical roots, as they once held the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship together. For now, however, Rhodes’ injury status casts doubt on his participation in the event.
