Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, along with friends Navya Nanda and cousin Alia Chhiba, joined the thousands of fans at the recent Coldplay concert in Mumbai. The trio was among the excited crowd that witnessed Chris Martin’s special shout-out to Shah Rukh Khan.
During the concert, Chris Martin expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, calling him “forever” and singing a song dedicated to the Indian superstar. Fans present at the stadium erupted into cheers, showering Chris with appreciation.
The lead singer’s heartfelt gesture didn’t go unnoticed by Shah Rukh Khan himself. He shared a video message on Instagram, thanking Chris Martin for his kind words and expressing how much it meant to him.
Shah Rukh Khan posted: “Look at the stars. Look how they shine for you… and everything you do! My brother Chris Martin you make me feel special… like your songs!!”
Coldplay will be performing in Mumbai on January 21, followed by shows in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26. The band will also embark on a Hong Kong tour and visit South Korea in April.
Their Republic Day performance will live stream on Disney Plus Hotstar, with Chris Martin saying: “Namaste to all our friends in India. We are so happy to tell you that on the 26th of January, our show from Ahmedabad is streaming live on Disney+ Hotstar.”
Coldplay consists of Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, with Phil Harvey as their manager. The band has returned to India after a nine-year hiatus, with their last performance taking place at the Global Citizen Festival in 2016.
