Two-time PGA Tour major champion Collin Morikawa is looking for a new caddie ahead of this week’s Rocket Classic in Detroit. Morikawa parted ways with Joe Greiner, his bagman since the beginning of the year, due to a “different page” they were on.
Morikwa will now be caddied by KK Limbhasut, a 29-year-old competitor on the Korn Ferry Tour and former teammate at Cal Berkeley. Morikawa referred to Limbhasut as a “fill-in,” but indicated he was pleased with their collaboration.
The split comes after Morikawa parted ways with his only caddie since turning pro, J.J. Jakovac, in late April. Morikawa cited the need for a change due to conflicting daily routines and day-to-day approaches, but acknowledged Greiner’s exceptional abilities as a caddie.
