Comedian Tracy Morgan was taken to the hospital after vomiting on the court during a Monday night game between the New York Knicks and Miami Heat. The delay, which lasted around 10 minutes, did not disrupt the game’s outcome as the Knicks won 116-95.
Morgan, a longtime Knicks fan and “Saturday Night Live” alumnus, was sitting courtside when he suddenly became ill. He posted on Instagram from his hospital bed, saying he is doing okay and had food poisoning. Morgan jokingly thanked the MSG staff for their assistance in cleaning up the mess.
The Knicks continued to dominate the game after Morgan’s brief absence. Mikal Bridges led the team with 28 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points and seven rebounds. The win pushed the Knicks to a 43-24 record on the year.
