In the second half, the Cardinals’ offense began to gel, but it was the defense that received much of the credit for the win. With the Patriots unable to score in the fourth quarter, the Cardinals’ defense was able to hold strong and secure the victory.
While the win is a step in the right direction, the Cardinals still have a long way to go if they want to secure an NFC West title and make the playoffs. Nevertheless, their slim playoff hopes remain alive thanks to Conner’s big day and a solid defensive effort.
