The Bundesliga also saw several surprising results, including Bayern Munich’s 5-0 thrashing of Hoffenheim. Harry Kane scored his 22nd goal of the season in the rout.
In Serie A, Inter Milan were held to a 2-2 draw against Bologna, while Stuttgart pulled within a point of Champions League places by defeating RB Leipzig 2-1. The results marked another dramatic night of cup competitions across Europe.
