Coperni Debuts Meta x Ray-Ban Smart Sunglasses at Paris Fashion Week

French fashion brand Coperni merged ’90s gaming culture with cutting-edge tech during its Paris Fashion Week show. The “LAN Party”-themed event featured 200 attendees playing games like Fortnite for 24 hours, channeling retro digital nostalgia seen in films like *The Matrix*.

Coperni also unveiled a collaboration with Meta and Ray-Ban: $549 smart sunglasses with built-in camera, open-ear audio, and AI capabilities. The translucent black frames enable voice-controlled features such as live translation, Spotify streaming, and hands-free recording. Models showcased the glasses during the show, blending seamlessly into sleek Y2K-inspired outfits.

Limited to 3,600 pairs, the sunglasses sold rapidly after their midnight EST launch on Coperni’s website and partners’ platforms. The brand, known for tech-driven designs like its Aerogel “swipe” bag, continues pushing fashion’s digital boundaries.
