Costco is bringing back a popular perk for its Executive Membership holders. Starting June 30, members can shop as early as 9 a.m., one hour before regular public hours begin. This new benefit also includes additional savings on Costco services and a $10 monthly credit on Instacart orders over $150. However, it’s unclear how this change will affect locations that already open at 9 a.m.
In the past, Costco did away with early shopping hours for its Executive Members, but they’re thrilled to have it back. “Thankful this is coming back,” said one user on Costco’s Instagram post announcing the change. However, not everyone is pleased with the new hours. Some felt that they were still too late and preferred additional evening hours.
Despite this, shoppers will be happy to know that Costco is extending evening hours for all membership levels. Members can now shop until 7 p.m. every Saturday, allowing them to beat crowds without having to wake up early.
