Courts Slow Trump’s Revenge Agenda

For months, former President Donald Trump has been leading his “revenge agenda” against various groups and individuals he claims are his enemies. However, the courts have largely resisted these actions, upholding the rule of law and protecting citizens’ rights.

As a lawyer working for the government, Trump’s staff is given an advantage when pursuing cases. Judges often assume they will follow established procedures and respect evidence guidelines, known as the “presumption of regularity.” But this year, judges have faced significant doubts about this trust on multiple occasions.

The recent actions of Trump’s team include targeting individuals and groups with politically motivated prosecutions. However, the courts have repeatedly blocked these efforts, highlighting the importance of upholding constitutional protections and respecting due process.

While Trump’s “revenge agenda” may continue to face challenges in court, it remains to be seen how long his legal team can maintain its grip on power.
