Cowboys Consider Trading Micah Parsons to Cardinals

The Dallas Cowboys’ situation with Micah Parsons could worsen if his trade request doesn’t work out. Parsons has requested a trade, and Jerry Jones says negotiations are normal. However, Parsons is the best young defender in football, and losing him would be costly for the Cowboys.

If a trade happens, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report predicts the Cowboys might send Parsons to the Arizona Cardinals. The return package could include: 2026 1st-round pick, 2026 2nd-round pick, 2027 1st-round pick, and edge player Zaven Collins.

The Cardinals could make this trade work due to their $37.9 million in cap space available. By trading Collins, they’d save $4.4 million in additional cap space. The Cowboys would need a substantial haul, potentially including multiple first-round picks.

Collins has talent but inconsistency issues, which makes him a better fit for the promising Dallas defensive line unit with Parsons. Adding Parsons could give the Cardinals a boost and change their fortunes under Kyler Murray’s leadership.
