The cast of the 2000 film Coyote Ugly is set to reunite for a special screening and Q&A at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica on February 26. The event, benefiting Global Empowerment Mission’s California wildfire relief efforts, will bring together producer Jerry Bruckheimer with stars Piper Perabo, Tyra Banks, Maria Bello, Bridget Moynahan, Izabella Miko, Melanie Lynskey, and LeAnn Rimes.
The screening, a 35mm show, promises to offer “a rare chance to relive the magic of Coyote Ugly on the big screen” as well as share untold stories from the cast. Lynskey, who played Gloria in the film, previously hinted at the event by saying they would be getting “back on stage.”
Music legend Diane Warren will also attend, with her original songs for the movie including ‘Can’t Fight the Moonlight’ playing during the screening.
The event follows Tyra Banks, one of the Angelenos affected by the devastating wildfires that hit Los Angeles County.
