Cracker Barrel Unveils New Logo with Text-Only Design After 48 Years

Cracker Barrel has debuted a new logo, marking a departure from its iconic image featuring a man resting on a barrel. The updated design only features the restaurant’s name and is rooted in the brand’s signature gold and brown tones. This change comes as part of the company’s “All the More” campaign, which includes new menu offerings and a collaboration with country music singer Jordan Davis.

The logo evolution was inspired by popular menu items like farm-fresh scrambled eggs and buttermilk biscuits, which influenced the refreshed color palette. The brand aims to maintain its country hospitality and charm while introducing fresh energy and thoughtful craftsmanship to guests this fall.

Despite the removal of the man from the logo, Uncle Herschel remains front and center in Cracker Barrel restaurants and on the menu. The company’s values haven’t changed, and the new design is a call-back to the original that started it all in 1969. This marks the fifth evolution of the brand’s logo, which will appear across menus, marketing collateral, and digital platforms.

The modern makeover continues with updated interiors, which now feature a brighter modern vibe. Cracker Barrel has been testing remodels for several years, aiming to make stores feel brighter and welcoming while preserving country hospitality and charm. The company is offering customers in the US a complimentary Classic Side with any purchase on August 23 and 24 at its nearly 660 locations nationwide.
