Customize Your News Feed with Preferred Sources in Google Search

Google has introduced a new feature called Preferred Sources, allowing users to select their favorite news sources and see more content from them in Top Stories. This update aims to provide a personalized experience for users, showcasing articles from the sites they follow and subscribe to.

To get started, search for a topic that’s currently trending and click on the “Preferred Sources” icon next to Top Stories. Select your desired sources, and refresh your results to see more of their content in your feed. You can choose as many sources as you like, including multiple websites or local news outlets.

This feature will appear in the coming days, with a dedicated section for “From your sources” on the search results page. Users who have previously signed up for Google’s Labs program will automatically see more of their preferred sites within Top Stories.

Publishers can also promote their website as a preferred source using resources from the help center, helping them reach a wider audience and encourage engagement with their followers. This is just one way to customize your Google Search experience and find relevant information tailored to your interests.
