CVS Health announced plans to close 270 pharmacies across the United States in 2025. In 2022-2024, CVS reduced its “store density” by closing 900 stores. Despite these closures, 85% of Americans will still be within a 10-mile radius of a CVS location. This is partly due to the chain’s efforts to open nearly 30 new stores in 2025.
