Honeymoon with Harry, a romantic comedy in development for 21 years, is finally moving forward. Mike Karz, the current producer, is reviving the project that was initially pitched by Paul Haggis. The film was set to star Vince Vaughn and Jack Nicholson, but those plans never came to fruition.
In 2015, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro were attached to the movie, with Dan Fogelman writing the script. However, those roles fell through. The project changed hands again in 2017, with Nick Cassavetes set to direct. Fogelman stayed on board as a writer and worked to find a new home for the film after its rights lapsed from New Line.
Now, it appears that the original cast members Josh Ficara, Adam Requa, and Dan Fogelman will be reunited in the movie. The latest development sees Julianne Nicholson joining the cast alongside Xavier Collins and Samantha ‘Sinatra’ Redmond. Jason Wilborn is now on board as a writer, taking over from Fogelman.
While details are scarce, fans can look forward to updates on Honeymoon with Harry’s progress through Collider.
