Cavaliers star point guard Darius Garland sat out Sunday night’s game against Memphis due to an injury, but coach Kenny Atkinson expects him to return soon. The left hip contusion, which occurred late in the second quarter of Friday’s win over the New York Knicks, is not expected to keep Garland sidelined for long. Allen played despite wearing equipment on his injured right hand, logging 31 minutes and compiling 13 points, 10 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
