Dark Chocolate May Help Lower Risk of Type 2 Diabetes

A new study has linked regular dark chocolate consumption to a lower risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. The research found that people who ate dark chocolate regularly had improved insulin sensitivity and reduced inflammation, key factors in preventing the disease. However, milk chocolate was not associated with similar benefits.
