Players control the body of legendary pirate Davy Jones, while his chatty skull, Davy, helps navigate and crack jokes.
The game is set in the pirate underworld, where players must embark on a revenge-driven journey to reclaim stolen artifacts and face off against notorious pirates like Blackbeard. The Locker, a hellish pirate underworld at the bottom of the sea, serves as the main setting for the game. Players will explore nine shattered islands, each with its own unique challenges and enemies.
Gameplay involves wielding various swords, guns, and a powerful grappling hook for high-octane combat. Players must also recruit crewmates for their ship, Abby, and maintain its base and artillery to prepare for combat. The game features an unpredictable loot system, where treasure chests can contain powerful items or fiends that hinder progress.
