DC K.O.: Heroes Clash in Cosmic Tournament

DC Comics has announced its next massive event, DC K.O., a bracket-style comic book series that promises epic battles and high stakes. The story follows the greatest superheroes as they enter a cosmic tournament to save the universe from Darkseid’s Omega powers.

DC co-architects Joshua Williamson and Scott Snyder team up once again, building on their previous success with DC All In Special #1. This time, the duo returns with artist Javi Fernández to create a five-issue limited series, which will be released in early 2026. The first issue, DC K.O. #1, is set to hit shelves on October 8, 2025.

The tournament takes place over five levels, each testing the heroes in brutal and symbolic ways. With Superman as its emotional center, DC K.O. promises to deliver thrilling battles, heart-pumping tension, and a personal story that explores the hero’s inner darkness.

Several tie-in titles have been announced, including Justice League: The Omega Act #1, Titans #28, and Superman #31. These comics will delve deeper into the universe-shaking events of DC K.O. and explore new challenges for the heroes.

The DC Universe is building up to a breaking point as the Heart of Apokolips pulses stronger. Secrets will be revealed, heroes will clash in shocking pairings, and the true cost of becoming King Omega will be exposed.
