Dell Ditches Old PC Names for Simpler Branding Approach

Dell Technologies is rebranding its PCs with a focus on simplicity, adopting an approach similar to Apple’s naming conventions. The move aims to make PCs more appealing to customers, who prefer straightforward and easy-to-remember names. COO Jeff Clarke stated that the company will kill off decades-old product names like “XPS” and “Inspiron” in favor of branding centered around the Dell name. This shift is part of Dell’s efforts to revamp its PC lineup ahead of CES, where the new devices are set to be unveiled.
